Tigers are like cows - MAY 2022

To be honest I don't have much to report about the month of May. I did not get around to completing any more of my 1000 paintings. Part of me does feel the inertia and how the stagnation has grown over time.

Something I did this month was try to figure out what a tiger looks like as a random thing to do. I used an approach I've been thinking about over the last few months in terms of teaching people how to create art. I started without references as a base line and saw where my understanding was lacking. Since tigers were felines I thought a tiger would look quite sleek.

However, after looking at reference photos I noticed that tigers look more like cows than I thought. Rather than a writhing snaky body, the tiger's body shape is more of a chunky rectangle. Like a cow.
