Coming together - APR 2024

This month, my efforts on my art tutorial series is finally coming together. I have made 3 very short tutorial videos, the tutorial series introduction and the first 2 lessons. My blog posts that go along with these lessons are not quite done yet, but are almost there. Once they are done, I can publish the 3 videos on YouTube and supporting material here on my website.

In terms of progress with the 1000 paintings, I made 6 this in April. I finally completed the series of scenes that I witnessed in one of my dreams last year. In the dream I was many millennia in the future, in a time so advanced that aging was a long lost myth. In total there I made 11 paintings for this series. Only 1 was made this month. Of the remaining 5 I made this month, they tell different stories, and have different origins. I'm starting to feel like I'm able to capture the story that I want to tell, to capture the feeling that I have in my mind, or perhaps my heart, before I create the painting. This is number 226 of the 1000 paintings.

226. Beyond the sky

Finally, in terms of story planning, I wrote 3 716 words. Almost half was on an addendum to another story, a planted seed. Though, I don't know if the seed will grow the way I want it to.
